1996 Black 4dr Soft-top Hummer:

Another Hummer bought on eBay. I wanted an open-top, so here it is. Soon as I got it I hated it. Hated it horribly. The soft-top was so loud, and so difficult to take off that I realized that this Hummer wasn't for me. I drove it around for a while so I didn't take a loss on it and then sold it as a tradein on the Green Hummer.

It was already decked out with a monsterous Alpine audio system including the video monitor, GPS, amps, subs, and all the other goodies associated with it. It was also a gas engine rather than the diesel. All the modifications were done by the previous owner and not by myself except for the Slantback. The pictures are from the auction I bought it from as I never actually took my own pictures of it.

Modifications done:

  • Dick Cepek Tires & Spare($1000)
  • Quad PIAA lights on brushguard ($600)
  • Alpine Audio/Video/GPS System ($5000+)
  • Dual 12" Subwoofers ($800)
  • Replacement Component Speakers ($300)
  • Stinger Short Brushguard ($800)
  • Black Seat Covers ($400)
  • Viper Alarm with Prox/Motion Sensor and Remote Start ($500)
  • Slantback Softtop (Not pictured) ($1100)
  • Redtop battery (Perhaps due to the audio equip?)
  • Momo Steering Wheel ($250)

This Hummer was bought as modified on eBay for $42,000.
