2000 Plymouth Prowler: Sports cars are fun. I picked the Plymouth Prowler because of its unique appearance, and their price, and most especially you don't see them on the road too often at all. In fact, I've never seen one in person until I bought mine. The Prowler is one quick little vehicle too -- Since its frame is aluminum, it's incredibly light, weighing 2700 lbs. The tires on the rear are 20" so peeling rubber isn't so easy, and it goes forward quickly instead. When I sold my 2000 Silver Prowler, I bought this one from my old business partner. He put on all of the modifications except the rear valance. The Prowler is truly a unique hotrod based on a 1934 Ford Roadster design. The Prowlers are no longer made, they were made from 1997 to February 2002. A total of 10,000 exist in the world. The supercharger really adds a nice whine and a ton of speed to the car. It's 8lbs of boost right now, Paxton does have plans to upgrade to 12lbs of boost. The mechanic who installed the supercharger vowed not to try another. :) I guess it was tedious work! One unique thing about the Prowler is that they all come in the same configuration except for paint color. All the options are identical, such as the 6 CD changer, dash, etc.. The only complaint on the Prowler, is that once you get to about 130MPH on the highway the front nose starts to lift up from too much wind. Rear visibility is nothing with the top on. Of course, why would you drive with the top up? Down it goes! Modifications:
