2001 Lamborghini Diablo 6.0:
The ultimate supercar -- The Lamborghini Diablo 6.0. This vehicle, built in year 2001, is one of the last 260 Lamborghini Diablos ever made. It was the end of an era. (The current model is the "Murcielago", which was designed and produced by Lamborghini through Audi's ownership). Less than 260 of these cars were built. 35% of so is the agreed upon number imported into the United States. First shown at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2000, it represented the final evolution stage of the Diablo. The entire car, with the exception of the roof and doors for safety, is made of cabon fiber. The entire car! The 6.0L V12 engine roars at 550bhp at 7100RPM. In addition to input valve variable timing, the Diablo 6.0 includes exhaust valve variable timing. The engine also came with titanium connecting rods and a lighter crankshaft to improve performance. There are a few cars that can keep up with this car stock. Those that can have nowhere near the top speed to totally keep up. The Diablo 6.0 states a max speed of 205mph however several owners have clocked 220mph with radar. Everything on the vehicle is from the factory with the exception of a stainless Tubi exhaust and the addition of a Valentine V1 Radar (for obvious reasons!). I put 1000 miles on it in the first month of ownership and use it as a daily driver. It's fun, and meant to be driven. Currently the odometer is @ 7200 miles. The sound system is OK in the car, and is an Alpine CVA unit with the dvd gps navigation and 6-disc CD changer. MSRP $274,000.
That's all the pictures I took! Glad you enjoyed them. |
